How much does Acropolis Museum cost?
Prices of entry to the Acropolis Museum differ during the winter and summer seasons. The ticket for the Acropolis Museum is around 13 euros. However, we do recommend buying a combination ticket that includes entrances to both the Acropolis and the Museum.
The price of this ticket is equal to the sum of separate tickets for the Acropolis and the Museum, with the fact that you will not need to buy two different tickets in two places, but everything you need is in this ticket for the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum.
Should I visit the Acropolis or the museum first?
It’s up to you to decide whether you want to visit the Acropolis or the Museum first. Some deciding factors can be the time of the day you decide to visit the sites. If you go in the morning, we recommend visiting the Acropolis first to avoid bigger crowds.
But if you want to go in the afternoon, maybe go to the Museum first and leave the Acropolis for the last entry visit since it tends to be less crowded during those times.
Should I buy Acropolis tickets in advance?
We highly advise you to purchase your Acropolis tickets in advance. Although the tickets usually don’t sell out, we recommend you buy your tickets in advance and online, so you can skip the long waiting lines at the ticket booth. The ultimate Acropolis experience
We were on Saturday at around 8 a.m. in the Acropolis, and there was really not much going on, at 10 a.m. there were already a lot of tourists. The Parthenon is really impressive and imposing. However, you must not pose for a photo in front of any attraction in Athens. We also visited the Archaeological sites and the Temple of Olympian Zeus.
Fast & easy
A truly fantastic experience. The Museum was so interesting, and Acropolis Hill was simply majestic. It was so interesting following the audio guide and learning more about Ancient Greece. Buying a two-in-one ticket for the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum was the best decision The booking and redeeming process was so fast and easy. 100 percent recommend this ticket!
My trip was at the time of the last entrance - around 6:30 PM. I used the lesser-known entrance, which had a steady incline and fantastic views! Before going to Acropolis Hill, we visited the Acropolis Museum If you want to learn more about Ancient Athens, I recommend booking a walking tour with a professional tour guide who will tell you some amazing stories.
